KIA Sonet Variants GTX+ Petrol and Diesel Launched in India : Prices Announced

KIA had a few days back launched the Sonet with a starting price of Rs 6.7 lakh. However while it revealed the prices for most of the variants, the top-end GTX+ was not revealed. This was the GT line fully loaded spec and the one that has been garnering quite the attention. Now though KIA has revealed the prices of the most expensive Sonet that you can and there is a pleasant surprise. The Sonet  GTX+ 1.0 T-GDI petrol with 7-speed DCT, and GTX+ 1.5 CRDi with 6-speed automatic both are priced at INR 12,89,000 (ex-showroom India).

The GT line gets an electric sunroof, red accents all over, leatherette wrapped D-cut steering wheel with GT-Line logo, Sportier pedals, Leatherette wrapped Door trims, contrast red stitching on the steering wheel, seats and door armrest and roof lining. There are of course other features that we have earlier talked about in our review here.

Interestingly both the diesel AT and the DCT in GT line are priced the same while the Sonet is the only car in its class to have a diesel plus automatic combination. KIA has also said that the GT line top-end has been one of the most popular options that car buyers have chosen plus the diesel automatic is also a popular choice.
